Woman’s obligation in marriage

I often hear that a woman is supposed to "obey" her husband. What does it mean to "obey" one's husband?

To the Questioner,

The literal translation of what the Rabbis have described is "a woman who does the will of her husband".
The simple meaning of this is that a woman should be supportive of her husband, not controling of him.
In practice, when questions come up regarding how much a woman needs to remain being supportive in the face of any given behavior, a competant Rav who knows both spouses should be consulted in order to recieve the appropriate guidence for the situation.
