Question

Shalom! The five Books of our Torah are holy. Can we say that are more holy than the Na"ch (the Books of the Prophets and the Writings)? How can we prove that? Does the Gemara deal with it? Is there any Halacha about that? Thank you in advance! Kol Tuv!

Answer

To the Questioner,

See Gemara in Nedarim 22b:

"אמר רב אדא ברבי חנינא אלמלא (לא) חטאו ישראל לא ניתן להם אלא חמשה חומשי תורה וספר יהושע בלבד"

We see from here that the Five Books of the Torah are the Holiest Source.

The Gemara also says that the Nevuah of Moshe was on a higher level than all th rest of the Neviim (prophets).

With Blessings,
Rav Nachum
