The caterer who served Bishul Akum
Question: I recently made a Simcha in a hall. I sat down with the caterer and we agreed on the menu and how much etc. After the Simcha, we went into the kitchen to pay the caterer and we saw a non-Jew cooking all the food. We asked the mashgiach how he could cook the food and he said that he lit the fire. I know for Ashkenazim that is fine but it is Bishul Akum for Sephardim. The caterer served my whole family and event Bishul Akum. Do I need to pay him?
Why Did G-d Create Mosquitoes That Make Us Miserable?
What is the use for all the millions of bugs in our world, especially mosquitoes that bite and make us miserable?
Question: Rabbi, During Bein Hazmanim a few of us took a Tiyul down to the Negev. We went on this great hike and we didn’t realize how long of a hike it was. A few of us didn’t bring a lot of food and were getting hungry suddenly we smelled a few pitas and we saw a few Bedouins baking pita. We weren’t sure if we were allowed to eat the bread because it is Pat Akum. Some of us were Moreh Heter and said anyway the problem of Pat Akum is so that we don’t become too friendly and marry our children of. Here we will never see them again. Who is right?

Gentile working in Kosher restaurant
We are going to open a kosher restaurant soon and my fiance (who hasn't converted yet) will be a part of it. According to the Halacha, what is he allowed to do in the restaurant that won't jeopardize the kosher certification of the food? I know he's not allowed to turn the fire on, or touch wine etc. but is he allowed to put stuff (like salad pickles etc.) in a pita for instance without it voiding kosher? What can he do there?
Shalom. Do I need to sift whole spelt flour before using it? If so, what size mesh do I need? What is the correct procedure for doing this? Thank you. Kol tuv.
Bugs in Cauliflower
I heard you can blend, grind or mash cauliflower, broccoli or strawberries & then eat it even though there are probably bugs in them. Is that correct? Please elaborate in detail
kosher animals that eat non-kosher animals
In our Parsha class in Holland we discussed and wanted to know what happens to kosher animals that eat non-kosher animals. For example cows eat grass that can have bugs on it and kosher fish can swallow non-kosher fish.
