5 Ways Righteous Gentiles Saved Jews in Europe During the Holocaust
Righteous Gentiles hid Jews in their homes, provided Jews with forged documents, assisted their escape, saved children and provided encouragement and support to the Jews hiding
I have a question that has been bothering me for some time. Much of the study of Judaism, such as the Talmud is filled with debates. Even in Jewish law there is debates, such as between the Rambam and his colleagues, or the Beit Yosef and Rav Isserlis. But from what I have learned that all makes sense, because there can be truths on different spiritual levels and the origin of the sages souls also matters. But what I really do not understand is how there can be two practical truths, as in, how do Sefardim and Ashkenazim hold differently in actual practice, or how is there different versions of prayer books, I don't mean a minor custom or stringency, rather mean real big differences? Did God want different laws for different Jews, not better or worse, just different?? Where do we see that this was Gods intention? How do we know this is what god wanted, and not some technicality? I understand it is all divine providence, but is there a source for this idea? Can you find these ideas in the Torah? To summarize, how does it make sense that there can be 2 Jews, practicing Judaism, 2 different ways, if we have one god and one Torah?
Is it Ok for a non-Jew not to Convert?
I'm reviewing, learning about the Jewish religion from a "Christian" background with the purpose of better understanding. I recently learned the Nimrod, tammaz, (I think thats the correct spelling) and it upset me and made me question just what I was actually believing. The Torah and related information from Rabbi videos has expand my knowledge and understand exponentially. It really has helped me grow. But I just came across a reference to the Sanhedrin 59a in the comments section of what basically was a video discouraging conversation to judism. It also reference the "Rambam" as discouraging it and saying we we're like Kohen Gadol offering profane fire to G_D. I really don't have a good way to verify this or even check if I understood it correctly. I humbly ask if you can clarify this.
Survival Of Jewish Nation
Hello. The following is an article I found in the Hebrew version of Hidabroot, regarding the survival of the Jewish nation up until now: The following is a response for to the above from a family member of mine: _______________________________________ What is so good about G-d predicting 3000 years ago that the Jews will be spread all over the world and tortured by all the nations but never disappear? Its like torturing someone to near death but always keeping him just alive enough so you can keep on torturing him again and again and again.... And we already know that G-d has proven 1000's of times that keeping the מצוות makes no difference because he just מסתיר פניו and the good get tortured with the bad So בורא עולם is extremely cruel according to these "clever "rabbis.

The final Temple
I have heard that it is not clear whether Hashem builds or Mankind builds the third and final temple. It does seem however that this event is in the time of Moshiach. Is there consensus on whether Man should force the issue and begin building the Temple, or, to wait for Moshiach? I understand that we are not spiritually ready for the next step, not only among the Jews themselves, but all of mankind, but I wondered if there is a scriptural basis, even in the Talmud that has a clear answer on the issue?
Questions about Moshiach
1. Could MBD come on a "lower" level because the Jewish people fall short of what Hashem expects? One Moshiach coming as Azkhenazi or Sephardic or Chabad or Breslov or Kurdish or... this can cause envy in the other "groups", almost the reason for the destruction of the Temple. the question is: could he come as Ben Noach or "non-religious" Jews at first? obviously becoming later and gradually acquiring much knowledge. Even because he also comes to unite the whole world and not only the Jewish people. Even if unprovable, this can not be possible? It would be a good fit for him to come upon a donkey (after mastering your yetzer hara). Besides a shrewd way of God to hide it in a klipa noga (as Moses in Mizraim). 2. If you will allow me: one last question. if he is humble like Moshe then he may not know that he is MBD, correct? or is he necessarily self-conscious of his anointing? Thank you very much. HaShem bless you.

Shabbat in the North
Hello! The situation is like this: I live quite far up north in Europe and this causes problems during the winters in regards to the Shabbat. For example this friday the sunset will technically start, according to my weather app, at 14:48. This means that the first three stars on the sky will be visible (if it isnt too cloudy) about 15:48 which means that the Shabbat starts. This is very early and not always easy to accommodate. So I wonder, what should us northerners do? I have previously done it by the israeli sunset start + 60 minutes but that might be a transgression? Perhaps to further complicate things Israel is one hour ahead of my country on the clock. I have previously read that jews in north Sweden may celebrate the Shabbat after israeli time in at least part of the summer as they have midnight sun. Thanks for your time.
