Prophecy to be fulfilled in the future
My question is directed to Rabbi Zamir Cohen because it arose after I listened to dozens of his fascinating lectures on the subject of the prophecies in the Book of Daniel and Ezekiel, and I even was present in some of them. After the rabbi gave a thorough explanation about the prophecies written in the Bible, the rabbi stressed that a good prophecy will always come true but a bad prophecy depends on people — as is described in the book of Jonah concerning the people of Nineveh who repented. Rabbi Zamir explained that there are two prophecies about the coming of the Messiah the son of David. One involves a donkey and the other is about the Clouds of Glory — I do not remember the exact words. But the main idea is that one of the ways that the Messiah will come will be glorious and the other way will be the opposite. He emphasized that the way that the Messiah comes depends on the Jewish people. My question is: If there is a prophecy that the Messiah will come on clouds of glory — this is a good prophecy. And if the people of Israel will not be worthy, and the Messiah will come on a donkey, it turns out that the prophecy about the Messiah coming on the clouds of glory will not be fulfilled. It contradicts the fact that a good prophecy must come true. I'd love to get a deep answer. Thank you and have a good month.
