Voice development studies for women
Hello, Rabbi ... I play music in a class for women and we have fun together. I want to learn vocal development and develop my skills further so my performance will be even better ... but I'm in a difficult dilemma and don’t know what to do .... I found someone in my city that gives voice development lessons, but the problem is that the teacher is not Torah observant, doesn’t dress modestly, and the songs she teaches are not good songs. Another problem is that as part of the lessons, she organizes concerts and I would have to appear before a mixed audience and can not excuse myself. However, everyone in the group are women .... the rate is cheap, two hours a week for $11 per month. On the other hand, I found in the local community center that they have classes for the religious sector, including voice development and the rate is once a week for half an hour and the price per month is 270 shekels. I really want it because it is appropriate for the religious sector and the class is individual and they check each person and see whether she should take a class of half an hour or more .... but the price is a little expensive for me because I barely work 3 times a week in cleaning buildings. I really want to learn it to make women happy, but the price is expensive for me ... what does the rabbi suggest that I do ??
Judaism & Performing Arts
Dear Rabbi, I’m 20 years old, and since I was a child, I’ve always dreamed of being an actress. Simultaneously, I have always felt drawn to Judaism, and in the past years, become more observant. At this stage, I want to integrate my faith and observance with my dream of being an actress. This is the only thing I want to do in life, but how does it fit into the world of Judaism?

Can a husband be present in the delivery room?
I was wondering if there is a halachic problem for the husband to be in the delivery room with his wife, without touching because she is already a Nida, or is it better not to be with her? Thank you.

Modesty in front of Holy Books
I have two questions: I have a bookcase with sifrei kodesh (holy books) in my bedroom, and I have nowhere else to put them. I wanted to know if I am allowed to get dressed in my bedroom? I understood that, at the end of the Shemone Esrei, I am supposed to recite a specific verse whose letters start and end with the same letters that my name starts and ends with. What do I do if there is no verse that matches my name? My name starts with a ‘shin’ and ends with a ‘zayin.’
The obligation to cover one’s legs
How much of one’s leg has to be covered? (I heard that one also has to cover the calves — is that right? And what is the source of that?)
