Question: I work in the kitchen of the Yeshiva and when we serve the chicken and rice we are not careful that none of the grease from the chicken falls on the rice. There are some Bachurim who don’t want to be Besari and ask if they can just have the rice. I try to take out the rice where the grease falls on but I can’t always tell. Can I tell them it is Pareve.?

The Traditional Passover Meal
Salutations Rabbi, I have a question pertaining to the traditional Passover meal. The traditional Seder dinner typically includes gefilte fish, matzo ball soup, brisket or roast chicken, potato kugel and carrot and prune tzimmes. Now, we know that none of these foods originated in ancient Israel - they're from a later period in Jewish history during the diaspora and after the destruction of the Temple. But my question is, what would have been a traditional Passover meal in ancient Israel? What would have been the traditional Passover meal for people living at the time of King Solomon or the Prophet Isaiah? What would have been the Passover meal for people living in the time of Herod's Temple? Thank you, Joshua Flaugher

To the Rabbi: I am extremely nervous about the upcoming Purim. I have a neighbor who doesn’t like me very much and makes a little crazy. Last year Purim for Mishloach Manot he gave me something I don’t like or can’t have, on purpose. I am diabetic and can’t stand the taste of coffee. Last year he thought it was funny to give me a container of coffee, a packet of sugar and a thermos full of hot water. I was then angry the rest of the day it ruined my Seudat Purim. I am afraid he will do it again. If he does that again this year, can I just give it back to him and tell him that he can’t fulfill Mishloach Manot in this manner?

Southern Fried Corn Chex Chicken Schnitzel Sandwiches
In my house, anything on a burger bun gets a standing ovation. If the bun is combined with our favorite version of chicken schnitzel, I can guarantee hugs and kisses to last me throughout the day. I am not a huge fan of white-meat chicken schnitzel done the traditional way. But when my daughter complained that everyone else had them for dinner and we don’t, I decided to make my own recipe to keep us both happy, and I created this version.
