Bringing Moshiach
If hypothetically the Redemption is coming, what would be / would there be, a point of doing work to make the world better (ie. finding cure for cancer, improving justice system, working on public parks and infrastructure) ?
End of Days
Hi there, Can you please clarify why the Gemara states that both positive AND NEGATIVE occurrences are proof of Mashiachs' arrival? Why would bad things be proof of Mashiachs' arrival?
The final Temple
I have heard that it is not clear whether Hashem builds or Mankind builds the third and final temple. It does seem however that this event is in the time of Moshiach. Is there consensus on whether Man should force the issue and begin building the Temple, or, to wait for Moshiach? I understand that we are not spiritually ready for the next step, not only among the Jews themselves, but all of mankind, but I wondered if there is a scriptural basis, even in the Talmud that has a clear answer on the issue?

On the aftermath of the Jerusalem synagogue massacre
Recently there were a number of tragedies in Israel, including attacks, causing much pain and suffering. Everyone says that the Messiah is truly almost here, and that those who were killed in the synagogue were an atonement before the coming of the Messiah… I ask myself, how different were the disasters and terrorist attacks in our days from those that occurred 70 years ago or 2000 years ago... during the Holocaust and the Inquisition, which were much worse. Probably then they also said that the Messiah was at the door and would soon come. They did not know that even after 70 years and more, the Messiah still wouldn’t have come and the exile would still continue. So how are we supposed to be cheered up by such statements? How different is the present from the past ?? I'd love to hear your answer.
Songs in the Haggadah
During a class on preparations for Passover in the synagogue in Melbourne, Australia, the following question arose: Someone claimed that the song Chad Gadya (One Kid) that we read in the Haggadah was actually composed by a German non-Jew, and because it was connected to Judaism it was included in the Haggadah. Hillel ben Yaakov
How can you know for sure that G-d is here?
• When you have a question, for instance: why does the world orbit around the sun, and you’re trying to find an answer. You can’t say, that the reason the world is in orbit around the sun is because it wants to. You need to come up with a hypothesis that makes logical sense. For example: the world orbits around the sun because the gravity of the sun keeps it in orbit. The reason that it is a good hypothesis, is because it makes logical sense. After you have a hypothesis you need to test it, and then get to a conclusion based on the results. When it comes to god we have a question. how can the world exist? How did it come to be? Their where plenty of hypotheses throughout the generation’s. some logical and most not. When you say that “god” created the world it is not a sound hypothesis because it makes no logical sense. (the only reason god is considered as a good hypothesis is because there is no other logical explanation “yet”), but there are a lot of questions that we didn’t have answers to, and bit by bit we found an answer for them. So how can god be? How does it make any sense that he created the world? How can he be considered a good explanation for the existence of the entire world when it is not even logical that he exists?

Meaning of Life

The purpose of Adam
Always, when talking about a person’s purpose in This World, they always relate to the point of where a person is today. It turns out that a person’s purpose is to born in this world lacking tools and rectification, and he has to go through the process of rectifying himself by serving G-d until he returns to his source on the day of his death. My question is what was the purpose of the first person ever created, Adam. What was his purpose? After all, he was created perfect without evil and without death, so what was G-d’s original purpose in creating man?
Messiah, End of Days & Nations of the World
Shalom. It is said that when the Messiah comes, then almost all the nations will die, and only those who helped us will remain as “lower-class” people. We always say that our religion is beautiful, and really unlike other religions; we always pray only for peace and pray not to hurt another person. How do you explain this sensitive subject?
Days of the Messiah and the World to come

Why don’t we do a Redemption of the Firstborn for a firstborn son who was born by C-section?
I understand that a baby born in an unnatural way such as by a caesarean, does not have a Redemption of the Firstborn (Pidyon Haben). But the holy verses in the Torah say, "You shall redeem the firstborn of all your children.” The Torah must have known that there are various ways to give birth, and still it chose to write in the commandment "all". So why won’t they make a redemption of the firstborn for a baby born by caesarian? Thank you very much.

God is Good
we hear that God does only good. whats the proof for this? The accepted reason is that God Created the world to do good, He does not lack anything and therefore has no gain from the creation, therefore it must be only in order to give good to others. one only does bad in order to gain from it, and since He lacks nothing, it must be He does only good. I think this is a fallacy, it could certainly be that a bad thing will do bad for no purpose, like a fire, since it is a body of flame, it burns things, it doesn't need a reason for it, it simply burns bec' that's it's nature. So too, if somoeone's nature is bad, he will do bad without a purpose. therefore prove to me that God does not have a streak of badness to him.
