“A Taxi Driver Returned My Jewelry”

On the Sunday before Rosh Hashana a taxi driver brought a bag full of gold jewelry to the Ramat Gan Police Station worth tens of thousands of shekels. The driver claimed that at the end of his day he found this luggage with the jewelry in his cab that some passenger must have forgotten.

The Police lost and found in Ramat Gan found a sim card in the bag and made many phone calls to find out who the owner of the sim card was.  They found the woman who gave positive identification that she was indeed the one who lost the jewelry.

Very emotionally she said: “I want to thank Nissan the police officer that made me glad before Rosh Hashana!”
