Jewish Thought

What are the few main points in which the Baal Shem Tov stresses pertaining to his chasidis?

To the Questioner,

1. The focus in one's worship of G-d should be on the goal of Jewish worship: to build a positive, mutual Relationship with the Creator of the World.
2. Everything that happens to a person in his life, is just a reflection back to the person to give him a message regarding his present level of connection to that goal.
3. Even all of a person's physical experiences in the world, should be unified toward the goal of building that relationship with the Creator.
4. The relationship should be so binding, that the main pain one feels is the pain of the Creator.
5. The relationship should be so binding, that every pleasure that one feels should be associated with the First Source, namely, the Creator, from where all that pleasure emanates from.
