Morning Blessings for Those Who Did Not Sleep at Night

AA

Question

If I work nights and do not sleep at all, can I say the morning blessings in the morning or only after I sleep? (According to the Eastern Communities).

Thank you very much.

Answer

Greetings,

The custom of the Eastern Communities is that even someone who was awake all night can recite all the morning blessings, except for the blessings on hand-washing and *Asher Yatzar*. If you went to relieve yourself, you should recite *Asher Yatzar*.

Sources: See *Yabia Omer*, Part 5 (Orach Chaim, Siman 6) and *Yachaveh Da'at*, Part 3 (Siman 36).

Best regards,
