How Many Days Does Rosh Hashanah Last?

I wanted to know, how many days does Rosh Hashanah last? What should we do when there is a Shabbat in between?

Rosh Hashanah lasts for two days.
Sometimes Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat and Sunday, and then we do not blow the shofar on the first day of Rosh Hashanah.
This year, Rosh Hashanah falls on Thursday and Friday, and then Shabbat follows. If one wishes to cook on Friday in honor of Shabbat, one should perform "eruv tavshilin" on Wednesday, the eve of Rosh Hashanah.
