Who Are the Angels and What Are They, Essentially?

The angels were created on the second day.

An angel refers to a messenger. The management of the world is by the Creator, who sends His messengers, which are the angels, to serve Him. There is an angel in charge of the flow of sustenance, an angel in charge of healing, an angel in charge of war, and many more angels without number. Each angel is, so to speak, a created entity through which abundance flows, executing Hashem's decree in every matter and issue.

There are also angels—spiritual entities created from every good or bad deed—whose function is to advocate for a person if it involves a good deed, and conversely, God forbid, if it involves the opposite, they serve as an accuser against the person and are also responsible for the actual imposition of punishment or accompany the person in the next world to Gan Eden to award him his reward from what the King of Kings has prepared for all who do His will.
