Hello respected Rabbi, I read in the Shulchan Aruch that some have the custom not to prepare fish on Rosh Hashanah out of concern. Is it permissible to prepare fish for Rosh Hashanah? Is it permissible to prepare spicy fish for Rosh Hashanah? Thank you in advance.

The custom among all communities is to prepare fish for Rosh Hashanah, and there is no concern regarding this matter.
There are places where the custom is to avoid eating overly spicy foods on Rosh Hashanah; one should follow their community's custom in this matter. In a place where no custom is known, it is permissible to be lenient and eat spicy foods as well.
