The Law Regarding Wearing Tefillin Without a Kippah

Shalom, honorable Rabbi.
My question is: After I finished putting on tefillin, I realized that I forgot to wear a kippah.
What should be done in this situation?

You have fulfilled the obligation of laying tefillin even though you forgot to wear a kippah. You are fortunate to merit to perform this holy mitzvah and to lay tefillin each day.
