Reciting Song of Songs for Forty Days
Question
I took it upon myself to read the Song of Songs for 40 days. I am 21 years old, and I have never had luck in love. I am in the United States. From what I understand, I should recite the blessing every day at the same hour, and due to my work hours, I have taken it upon myself to read at ten at night. I asked some religious people here if it is true that the time needs to be fixed, and they all told me it doesn't matter as long as I read every day, no matter the hour. I would like to know exactly what the halacha says: Is it possible to read at a different hour, does it really not matter? And is this prayer a merit for salvation?

The world says that reciting the Song of Songs for forty days can help find a match, and there is no need to recite at a fixed time each day, but it is preferable to avoid reading the Song of Songs at night - see this link.
