Is the Name Daniel Suitable for a Son?

Shabbat Shalom. I would like to know about the name Daniel for a son.
I have two names (Nitai - with a Yud, Nehorai), and my husband suggested Daniel. I know there is an angel by this name, but it is not customary to name after angels, so I understand it is based on the Daniel from Tanach. I would be glad to know if this is a good name for a boy.

The name Daniel is good and recommended for a boy. It should be noted that there is no angel named Daniel, and even if there were, the custom of Israel is to name after certain angels such as Raphael, Michael, Gabriel, Azriel, and Uriel.
