Hello, Rabbi,
Is it permitted, during the fast of Tishah B'Av, to study for an exam I have two days later? Or is it preferable not to study?

Hello,
Until midday on Tishah B'Av, one should not study for an exam, because this distracts from the mourning. After midday, you may be lenient in this matter - although even then, it is preferable to refrain if possible.
