What blessing is recited over store-bought rusks/croutons? Thank you
Answer
Shalom and greetings,
On ready-made rusks purchased from a store, one should recite mezonot, since they were baked in advance for that purpose. However, on rusks made at home from regular bread, one should recite hamotzi.
