Hello, is it permitted according to halacha to eat from a broken vessel, such as a cup, plate, and the like? Thank you

Hello,
There is no prohibition against eating from broken vessels if there is no concern of danger. However, the Kaf HaChaim (siman 2, ot 3) wrote that one who eats from broken vessels will experience forgetfulness, and the reason is that they allude to the aspect of the kelipah, and forgetfulness comes from them.
