Is It Permissible to Fly During the Three Weeks?

AA

Question

Is it allowed to fly during the three weeks? Thank you

Answer

Greetings,

It is permissible to fly between the 17th of Tammuz and Rosh Chodesh Av. However, from Rosh Chodesh Av until after Tisha B'Av, even though it is technically allowed, it is preferable to avoid flying unless it is for a significant need or a mitzvah such as making aliyah to Israel.
