Question
Shalom,
I dreamed that I was walking on the beach and suddenly I saw a cobra. For some reason, I went to step on its head and then I fell, and it bit me on the tongue. Then I woke up. I would be happy to know what this dream means.
Thank you in advance.
Answer
Shalom Rav,
Most dreams in our times do not hold much significance; however, sometimes they can hint at good and organized livelihood. As the Gemara in Tractate Berakhot (page 57a) states, one who sees a snake in a dream, their livelihood is assured to them (like a snake whose food is found everywhere). If it bites, it is doubled for them (their livelihood).
Wishing you good news,
Hillel Meiris
