What is the source that clapping hands sweetens judgments?

AA

Question

I once heard that when a person claps their hands, they sweeten judgments. I wanted to know - where is this written? Thank you

Answer

Greetings,

The source is in the words of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, zt"l, in his book Likutey Moharan (Part 1, Torah 10, section 1), where it is written that when, heaven forbid, there are judgments against Israel - through dancing and clapping hands together, the judgments are sweetened. Refer to that text.

Best regards,

Hillel Meirs
