Understanding Toxicity: How Our Bodies Communicate Health

If you don't eliminate what's causing toxin buildup, it'll reaccumulate and lead to further toxic crises. The immune system weakens progressively.

It is widely recognized, through numerous studies, that a natural lifestyle can help prevent illnesses—with the grace of Hashem.

An illness is essentially a crisis of toxicity, reflecting the body’s attempt to restore balance, known as homeostasis. The body maintains internal stability by neutralizing and eliminating harmful substances and fluids that have accumulated. To aid in recovery, we need to support the body in removing these toxins. Nutritious diets and natural health practices help prevent toxins from building up again.

Toxins can be generated within the body or come from external sources, and they negatively affect the body’s organs, tissues, and cells. These include chemical food additives, waste products from metabolism, and toxins produced by bacteria decomposing undigested food in the intestines.

When the body reaches its tolerance threshold for toxins, it signals discomfort through pain or other forms of unease. All of the body’s waste-elimination systems—such as the skin, respiratory system, liver, colon, kidneys, and lymphatic system—work overtime to expel these toxins.

As these organs temporarily become overloaded, weakness is often felt because the body uses substantial energy to cleanse itself. After several days, physical strength, appetite, and mood generally return to normal.

It is crucial to understand: if the factors that led to toxin accumulation are not addressed, the toxins will reaccumulate, causing another toxic crisis. The immune system continues to weaken, eventually leading to chronic disease.

Today, instead of addressing the root cause of chronic illness, treatments often focus solely on symptoms, suppressing essential bodily systems and organs.

The principle of cause and effect applies to all areas of life. True healing comes when we stop creating conditions for illness, rather than merely suppressing symptoms with drugs that push toxins into tissues, organs, joints, and bones. This suppression may make toxins appear to “disappear” but can lead to serious health crises, such as sudden heart attacks or strokes—even in people who always thought they were perfectly healthy.
