Is it Permissible to Wash Clothes During the Nine Days?
Question
What are the differences regarding washing clothes: Ashkenazi and Sephardi customs? Note that there are small children involved. Is it permissible to wash Tzitzit by hand this week?

Hello and greetings,
Sephardim wash clothes during the 9 days after Rosh Chodesh Av but do not wash clothes during the week of Tisha B'Av (Shavua she'cal bo), while Ashkenazim do not wash from Rosh Chodesh Av.
For the clothes of small children, who get dirty frequently, it is permissible to wash discreetly even for Ashkenazim.
