Brushing Teeth on the Fast of Asara B'Tevet
Question
Is it permissible to brush one’s teeth on the fast of Asara B'Tevet? Thank you very much and have a good week, Tamar
Answer
Shalom Rav,
It is preferable not to brush one’s teeth on the fast of Asara B'Tevet. However, if it causes you distress, you may be lenient, but be careful to tilt your head so that you do not swallow any water.
