Hello esteemed Rabbi, my question is simple. I just wanted to know what the amount is this year for the redemption of kaparot given in money. I would appreciate it if the esteemed Rabbi could respond to me. Thank you.

Hello,
Generally, those who perform kaparot with money try to give an amount equivalent to that of a chicken, which is around 20 shekels. Many will give 18 shekels, in accordance with the numerical value of 'chai' (life), or 26 shekels, corresponding to the name of Hashem.
