Is it permissible to hold a memorial service during Chol Hamoed?

It is permissible; however, one should not visit the cemetery during Chol Hamoed, but it is preferable to make the visit before the holiday. If this is not possible, he should visit after the holiday. Certainly, one should not fast during Chol Hamoed.
