How Many Times Should One Immerse in the Mikvah?

Shalom, honored Rabbi.. I wanted to know how many times one needs to immerse in the mikvah? And when exactly should one recite the blessing for immersion—inside or outside? If I have always immersed three times, should it remain that way? Because I frequently read that women immerse seven times. Best regards.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef rules that one should recite the blessing outside the room where the mikvah is located.
The custom among Ashkenazim is to recite the blessing in the mikvah after one immersion.
You do not need to immerse more than three times.
