Chanukah Candles That Went Out

Good evening and happy Chanukah! My question is: when lighting with oil, the shamash went out twice last night and today. Is it permissible to relight it after the blessing, and how do we act in this situation?...I would just mention that this is within the half hour...Chen

If the shamash or the candles went out, we can relight the shamash if it went out within the half hour. If the candles went out, according to the main law, there is no need to relight them, but it is customary to do so. However, one should be careful not to light the candles in a place where they are likely to go out.
