Greetings, Our Rabbis, the Tosafot on the Torah (Parashat Vayetze, on the verse 'And it came to pass in the morning') wrote that all night she (Leah) pretended to be Rachel through three signs that Rachel had given her: being in a state of niddah (menstrual impurity), challah, and lighting the candles, as Jacob had given to Rachel. This is also brought by the Kaf HaChaim (Siman 280, se'if 64) citing Chesed LeAvraham (Nahar 61) and Pithei Olam (se'if 41). Blessings, Hillel Meirs.
