I cooked fish in the oven; is it permitted to cook meat in it afterwards?

AA

Question

If I cooked fish in the oven, in an uncovered pan, and then removed the fish pan, can I cook meat in a new pan in the same oven? Before placing the meat pan, do I need to heat the oven or clean it from fish residue that might have stuck to the oven walls? And vice versa, if I cooked meat and now want to put in fish. I would appreciate an answer. Thank you.

Answer

Greetings,

It is sufficient to clean the oven of any fish remnants, and then you may immediately cook meat in it. The same applies in reverse.
