I dreamed about my grandmother who passed away. In the dream, it was her birthday. I entered the room where she was, sang "Happy Birthday" to her, then we hugged and both started crying.
What is the meaning of this dream? I heard that a deceased person crying in a dream is not a good sign.

It is true that seeing a deceased person crying in a dream is generally not a good sign; however, it depends on the circumstances. From what we observe in this dream, the story here is that she comes to thank you for your spiritual growth, which brings her benefit. The crying in this case is not one of pain but of deep emotion.
Nevertheless, it is recommended to light a candle for her and recite a chapter of Tehillim (Psalms).
