Is There an Angel Called Ariel?
Question
My question is whether there is an angel named Ariel. I know there is an angel called Uriel and I wanted to know if there is also an angel named Ariel. If such an angel exists, I would like to know his role. I also wanted to ask whether it is good to name people after angels. Can these names benefit them? I would appreciate an answer.

Indeed, there is a holy angel named Ariel. Our teacher, the Arizal, of blessed memory, wrote in the Sefer HaLikutim about several wondrous matters connected to invoking the name of this angel. It is accepted among ancient righteous figures that giving a child the name of an angel offers protection and safeguarding so that, God forbid, he should not die young.
