Is it Permissible for S'chach to Touch Metal?

Greetings and blessings. There is no problem with the s'chach touching metal. However, if the metal is supporting the s'chach and without it the s'chach would fall, one should ideally be stringent and place a piece of wood above the metal so that the s'chach rests on the wood rather than directly on the metal.
