Dream About a Dove
Question
Hello,
I dreamed that I was in a room with a slightly open window, and a pigeon was trying to enter. After several attempts, it succeeded, and I was anxiously trying to get it out of the window. After I managed to get it out, a white dove entered the room through the window. I would love to know the meaning of the dream.

Most dreams nowadays do not carry much significance. Nonetheless, sometimes a dream like this can herald peace (with anyone whose relationship with you needs improvement), as discussed in the Talmud in Berakhot (56b) where it states that there are three signs of peace: a river, a bird, and a pot (and Rashi explains that these three signs are three dreams that signify peace).
It is also noted there that for this dream to have significance, one should recite the verse (Isaiah 31:5) "As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts protect Jerusalem; He will protect and deliver, He will pass over and save."
