The Four Species After Sukkot
Question
My husband’s four species (the lulav, hadassim, and aravot) have been inside a completely sealed case since Sukkot, and they have become completely moldy. May I throw them in the trash, or must I still burn them with the chametz burning? Thank you

As a matter of halacha, you may put them in the trash. However, if it does not bother you, you may wait until the chametz burning.
