Prayer Before Immersion on the Eve of Yom Kippur
Question
Hello, honorable Rabbi. I am becoming more observant, and I know that one must immerse in the sea before the fast of Yom Kippur. I would like to know whether there is a prayer or blessing that should be recited, and whether there is any difference in the blessing between a man and a woman?

There is no blessing whatsoever for the immersion on the eve of Yom Kippur, but it is customary to cut the fingernails before the immersion.
