Is It Permitted to Work at a Place That Is Open on Shabbat?

It is permitted to work on a weekday in a place that is open on Shabbat.

Sources: Responsa Avnei Yashpeh, part 7 (siman 23, subsection 2), on the grounds that there is no issue of assisting transgressors, since this workplace is not designated for committing a transgression, such that we would say that one who works there is considered to be assisting transgressors. This person wants to work there on weekdays, when the work is permitted, and what they do on Shabbat is not his concern, and he is not assisting them in working on Shabbat.
