Is it permitted to use grooming products that contain pig fat?

AA

Question

May I use soaps, creams, or ointments intended for treatment and external use if there is concern that they contain pig fat? I should note that they are not made in Israel, and the ingredients are written in a foreign language, stating that they contain certain percentages of this fat.

I would appreciate an answer. I very much enjoy the well-prepared, varied, and interesting sections!

Thank you very much!

Answer

Greetings,

It is permitted to use grooming products that contain pig fat if its taste is spoiled and it is unfit for human consumption.
