What Blessing Is Recited on Toast?

Should one recite borei minei mezonot or hamotzi lechem min haaretz on toast? Thank you.
Answer
Shalom uvrakha,
On ready-made rusks or toast sold in the store, one should recite mezonot, because they were baked in advance for this purpose. However, on rusks or toast made at home from regular bread, one should recite hamotzi.
