Is it permitted to wear tzitzit without a kippah?

Hello, honored Rabbi, is there any prohibition for a baal teshuva to put on tzitzit before he has begun to wear a kippah regularly? Thank you!!

Hello,
It is permitted, and it is a mitzvah, for a person to wear tzitzit, even if he is not careful to wear a kippah. In any case, he should be careful at least at the time of the blessing over the tzitzit to place a kippah on his head, since it is forbidden to mention the Name of Hashem without head covering, as explained in Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim (siman 91, seif 3).
