How to kosher a non-kosher microwave
Question
Hello, honorable rabbi...
I did not know that it is forbidden to heat meat and dairy in the same microwave until a friend told me this week. Now that I know about the prohibition, I wanted to ask how I can kosher it so that it will be meat only.

Hello and blessings
1. Clean it very well, so that there is no dirt of any kind.
2. Wait twenty-four hours without any use of the microwave whatsoever.
3. Place a cup of water inside the microwave, and turn it on to the highest heat setting, and wait until a significant amount of the water evaporates inside the microwave. After that, it may be used for meat.
