Is It Permitted for Women to Read Chovot HaLevavot?

Is it recommended for women to read the book Chovot HaLevavot with the Shem Tov commentary? Is that considered a mitzvah, or is it better not to? Many thanks.

I am not familiar with this commentary. I know the Leiv Tov commentary, and it is wonderful. It is a great mitzvah to study the book Chovot HaLevavot, and it is one of the strongest and best works of ethical teaching among the great sages of our people.
