A Verse for the Name Rachel

AA

Question

I have not found a verse for the name Rachel that can be said at the end of the Amidah (as a segulah, so that one will not forget one’s name on the day of death). Perhaps you know a verse that would be suitable for me?

Answer

Shalom uVerachah

In Parashat Haazinu (Deuteronomy 32:39):

Know now that I, I am He, and there is no god with Me; I kill and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and there is none that can deliver out of My hand.

Likewise, one may say a verse in which the name Rachel appears. (3) Genesis 29:17:

Leah's eyes were weak, and Rachel was beautiful in form and beautiful in appearance.
