Is it permitted to do a zero fade on the sides of the head?

May I do a zero fade on the side of my head and not on the sideburns?

Shalom rabbi,
Even if you leave the sideburns in accordance with halacha, one should still refrain from shaving the sides completely, because of the prohibition of following the ways of the gentiles. As the Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh Deah (siman 178, seif 1) writes: one should not follow the customs of idolaters, etc., and one should not shave the sides and leave the hair in the middle. See there.
