When there is a situation of divorced parents, how can a child know which parent wants what is best for him or her????

The basic assumption should be that both parents want the very best for you; however, they do not always correctly see what is best for the child, and that is why sometimes they make mistakes in certain matters. You need to keep your eyes open and understand whether they are right or mistaken, and then act according to the laws of honoring father and mother and do what is truly best for you.
