Is it permitted to bring a bag containing a siddur and a sacred book into public restrooms?

Hello,
It is permitted to enter the restroom with a bag that contains sacred books, since they are covered. In any case, it is preferable that they be inside two coverings, meaning one additional covering besides the bag itself.
