Cutting Fingernails and Toenails on the Same Day

Is it permissible to cut fingernails and toenails on the same day?

1. Many are careful not to cut both fingernails and toenails on the same day (see Mishnah Berurah, Siman 242, paragraph 6, which discusses this matter), however, the custom among Sephardim is not to be concerned with this issue (Or Litzion, Vol. 2, Chapter 47, Paragraph 4).
2. Regarding this matter as well—the day begins at night and ends at the conclusion of the following day (Tzitz Eliezer, Vol. 14, Siman 242; and see in his book, Miluim D'Chassidus, Siman 57).
