Is it permissible for women to get haircuts during the Nine Days? Thank you

Greetings,
According to the custom of Sephardic women, it is permitted to get haircuts even in the week that includes Tisha B'Av (see Chazon Ovadia, Four Fasts, pages 263-264), while according to the custom of Ashkenazic women, one should not get haircuts during all three weeks (see Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 551:4, Mishnah Berurah 551:18, and Asheri 3:68:14).
